Nicholas S. Barnhorst, Attorney at Law

The latest addition to the practice, Nick brings an expertise in intellectual property conflict resolution to our team of attorneys.  Besides handling litigation cases in the California and federal courts, he also deals with opposition and cancellation proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, as well as trademark dispute negotiation and resolution.  Nick joined The Trademark Group in 2009.

Nick earned his JD and MBA from Marquette University, where he studied intellectual property and technology issues.  He earned his Bachelor of Science in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.  Prior to focusing his career exclusively on trademark law, Nick spent nearly four years as a litigation associate with Seltzer Caplan McMahon Vitek, a prominent San Diego law firm.  Before attending law school he worked as an agent assistant at the William Morris Agency in Beverly Hills.   Nick is licensed to practice law in California, Wisconsin, New York, and various federal courts.
